Marta Cuatrecasas Barceló (MA) and Ana Gras Samaranch (AN) are business and life partners who founded MAAN, an architecture and design studio in Barcelona that also invests in and collaborates on projects that matter.

Ana holds a degree in Architecture from UIC Barcelona and a Master's in Urbanism from SCI-Arc in Los Angeles. She built her career at Archiland International in Beijing and at Reed Architectural Group in Los Angeles, designing and delivering museums, public facilities, multi-family housing and private homes.

​Marta holds an MBA from IESE Business School and studied Journalism and Law in Barcelona. She has held management roles at multinational companies such as Grupo Godó and Areas, leading large teams and running businesses of over USD 100 million, including the food and beverage operation at Los Angeles International Airport.
